NELA

Documentary, 2010

This film is about Bosnian composer Nela Trifkovic who was granted refugee status in Australia after narrowly escaping her place of birth. As the camera follows Ms. Trifkovic and other anonymous travelers through the streets of Melbourne, Australia, questions and images of belonging and displacement are brought into focous through Ms. Trifkovic's personal story and her original music.
